The instructions in this article refer to an older version of FreeBSD and may not work properly on recent versions of the OS. With the availability of pkgbase, the freebsd-update utility is scheduled to be removed from FreeBSD in the future. When that happens, this article is either updated to reflect the new procedures or removed entirely.
Las instrucciones de este artículo se refieren a una versión antigua de FreeBSD y pueden no funcionar correctamente en versiones recientes del sistema operativo. Con la disponibilidad de pkgbase, está previsto que la utilidad freebsd-update desaparezca de FreeBSD en el futuro.
